I Still Have A Heart
Went to visit Grandma yesterday, and another special guest arrived before I did. My Fifth Aunt flew all the way from Australia back here to visit my grandma (aka her mum). It's an annual thing for her so we only get to see her once every year around Jan or Feb. I always like her a lot, cause she's very caring and always showing concern towards everyone around her, not to mention that she always stood up for me when I'm the target of my sister and my cousins a long way back (that was when I'm still a dark chubby little boy) and she's the one that will tell us to play nice.
So with her around back then, I can almost get away with ANYTHING... (Well, the adults would blame her rather than me if I did something wrong, since shes older anyway... hahahaha~!!) She's currently doing her Honours in Monash University right now. Hope she can finally finish her thesis that's been dragging for a few years soon. All the best to you, Fifth Aunt~!!
As for my grandma, she's looking more tired and weary after numerous visits to NUH. I also found out that her back aches most of the time when I chat with her and laying down on bed won't do her much good either. Her kidneys was already in bad condition, and her heart is giving her problems too. The doctor says that they will concentrate more on healing her heart instead of her kidney if things don't turn out well in future. When other people that you care are in pain, what can you do??
I knew I can't do much, except cheering her up with my broken hokkien accent and heed her advices from something in my life. Do take care and recover well, grandma.
