See Saw

Went and catch Saw 3 this evening, and it was the final movie of the Saw series. Really can't imagine my buddy Gi and I watch all the 3 movies together in cinema since it begans years ago.

Saw 3 is not a bad movie though, better than the first two movies in some ways. But I think something is missing in this one that the other two movies had, and I just can't place it. Maybe it was the weakness of storylines compare to Saw 1 & 2, or maybe it wasn't thrilling enough, or it could be that I was so damn tired that I can't really bother about it. The effects for this movie is good though, not top notch state of the art special effects, but at least it's better than the previous ones. There was this interesting scene where a woman was freeze to death (yes...literally...), and the scene which I can't stand is the one with the judge soak in the rotten pork soup "fear factor" style (I love blood and gore...but please spare me the smelly details).

Not to mention Jigsaw, the main character of the show, a dying old man who just don't give up torturing and inflicting pain and fear in people. Come on, when you are going to die you don't think about coming up with perfect plans and details with machines and gadgets to teach people a lesson in life. When you are going to die you only think about... erm ... yourselves??

I know, I know... it's just a show with lots of blood and gore and everyone dies in the end. But that's one of the things that lacks in Saw 3. The planning, timing and everything involved are just too perfect. Unlike Saw 1 & 2, where valid reasons and certain constrains may cause something to happen logically. Ya la... I know...it's just a show with lots of blood and gore... I think too much sometimes.

Thought of the day: Would you like it if people judge you constantly?? Who are we to judge others when we are not judges ourselves?? If judges are using guides of the law and morals to pass judgements, what makes you think your own judgements towards others are correct, or rather, are your morals correct?? (Ok...ok...I think too much... :P)
