Complaining About Complains

What's happening to our world now?? Maybe I should put it this way...What's happening to Singapore now?? And why do they always like to complain about everything?? It's not to say that I'm not a Singaporean and I've no complaints of my own, but when I glance at some newspaper forums, it seems that most people have something to say about everything...or maybe NOTHING at all.

Lone customers occupying tables for four or more in fast food joints or food court...Got complaint.

Sharp edges in food court and some kid got injured...Got complaint.

People don't give up seats in MRT and buses...Kanna complaint.

People who smokes...Complaint.

Lovers showing affection in public areas. HA~! What else but complaint.

People don't give ways to alighting passengers in MRT...(Yawn...) ya ya...complaint.

And the stupid list goes on and on and on and on........

I not saying that I won't be pissed off or irritated if I'm one of the victims listed above, as I'd say before, I'm no saint myself, oh wait...let me repeat that, I'm NOT a saint. I make mistakes too, just like everyone of us. But I'll let it pass and move on onces it over...get it?? MOVE ON SINGAPOREANS~!!!! Bearing it inside when these kind of things happen, and let it out when you reach home and type an email to the public is not moving on, it's call holding a grudge (I'm not talking about the english movie version of Ju-On...).

Even if you do voice out in the papers or forums about these kind of small trivia stuffs, do you really expect the almighty government, or rather, anyone to do something about that?? You are only making yourself happy by doing so.

If those people irritates you so much, why not confront them on the spot and talk it out nicely?? And if they do talk back or sending regards to your mother in a rude way, then so be it, right~!! Then they are the assholes, and let them know that~!! I'm sure not all of them have tattoos all over their bodies or something like that, sometimes people need reminders man.

Getting back to the topic, about all this complaining happening, is it because of what the government did to our minds that make us not able to talk back and suffer in slience all the time?? Or is it that our country is too fast pace and so stressful that there's no time to be courteous and considerate most of the time?? Or that the more educated one is, the more narrow minded he/she becomes?? Where is the love, man?? Where is that little angel sitting on your shoulder when you are younger?? I really don't understand what the world have come to.

**This posting is no way targetting at anyone or any events happening to anyone I know. It's just how I feel with the way that Singaporeans like to complaint too much. Before someone hates my guts, please take a moment and think about what is really going on.
