Ouch........
Went to work and twisted my ankle this afternoon. It's a long story (actually I'm just lazy to talk about it...) , and lets just say that I should be looking down (the steps) instead of up (the systems) whenever I walk next time. It's not that serious after I consulted the doctor, just some muscle tear and aching pain, and should be alright after two days of MC. And I learned two things from the doctor today.
Rule No. 1
Don't act like you yourself is an expert chinese sinseh and try to rub the swollen parts, cause it will only makes the matter worse. Massaging and rubbing won't help for the first 72 hours, when the injury is not stabilise yet (This is true, even chinese sinsehs say this).
Rule No. 2
Apply ices on the swollen part at once or as often as possible (that's what the Doc says), even when you are in the North Pole~!! (Nah, that's just me bullshitting...) Applying ices will allow the blood vessels to contract and therefore decrease or subside the swollen areas.
But it swell up really bad, man. My soccer fanatic friends always talked about how good some EPL players are, running with the soccer ball like it's glued to their feet. For me, it's like limping with a golf ball glued to my ankle. It's just swells up that big, and I have no idea how I do it (at least now I got an excuse not to go to the gym).
Too bad the guys at my working place needs to slave it out like mad dogs for the next two days. Guess I can't help you guys much now. But don't worry, I will always be with you guys mentally (Peace man~!!!!).

Just added a new tagboard, and don't know if it will serve much purpose around here. Thinking of adding something more and new to my blog, as it seems a little dull. Guess I need to find something more on the net then.
