Childhood Heroes

Wanted to post this up a looong time ago, but really don't have the time to do it (or maybe I'm just bloody lazy~!!)... Guess there's quite a lot of good movies coming out this year, and the most recently movie I'd watched was Apocalypto. Man it was GOOD~!! So good that I was thinking of watching it again right after the show ended, and the movie got everything I like; blood, gore, body part chopped off, a good storyline, and most important....an underdog story (don't know why, but I always love a good underdog movie, overcoming all odds and stuff). And so here they are, my childhood heroes coming to a theatre near you, very very soon. (Too bad Sesame Street won't be hitting the big screen soon....hahaha~!)

Spiderman 3

Sort of an underdog during his younger days, with worries of a normal teenager. Here comes the 3 installment of the famous Marvel comic book. Been a fan of him (& Venom) since I was in secondary school watching his cartoon and stuffs. Hope this time Venom really appears (not the dark suit, but Eddie Brocks, the real Venom). Oh ya, anyone want to buy an authentic poster of spiderman 3 like the one above, double-sided, in good condition, pleae let me know. I got lobang. :)

Transformers

"Transformers, ... more than meets the eye".

Who can forget that catchy phrase from the hit 80's cartoon show from America. Been surfing the net for info about this movie, but I think this live adaptation of the cartoon will be a letdown. The robots are totally different from the originals as what we saw from tv, Megatron & Optimus Prime are too 'over-expose', it will be a total disappointment for die hard fans. I won't be putting too much hope into this one, as there's a lot more human actors too.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Another nice cartoon from the late 80's, the show that made famous the word "Cowabanga" (I still don't know what it meant till now...) are final coming on the big screen again after some flops, this time it's an animated version instead of live action, and there will be no Shredder (Gasp~!!!), the arch enemy of the turtles. From what I see from the posters and trailers, they seens like some malnutrition turtles with skinny limbs, or rather, from some views they look like frogs with corsets on.

That's all for now, and here are some movies that I WON'T miss for this year. Hmm....sometimes I felt blessed for living till now... so that I can continue watching good movies. :P

Ghost Rider
Grindhouse,
Hannibal Rising
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
The Hills Have Eyes 2
Hostel Part II
Meet the Robinsons
The Number 23
Ocean's Thirteen
Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End
Shrek the Third
The Simpsons Movie
300,
... and many more~!!
