Foot For Thought
Was supposed to accompany a buddy of mine for his shopping spree yesterday. But in the end he bought nothing, while I ended up buying a sling bag, a leather wristband and serious thoughts of purchasing a pair of Caterpillar boots.
As I look at the old pair of brandless boots I was wearing now, it seems that it was walked on hot charcoals everyday. The soles at the heel was already worn out, the leather part was dirty, torn, and wrinkled. The internal of the shoes will also be a miniature reservoir if it ever rains. Regardless that my boots was a sorry sight, I only bought it for around four months (seems like four years to me). My friends remarked that it was the dragging of my feet that worn out the pathetic boots, while I blamed it was the poor quality of the boots (ok ok, I'm just finding excuses).
I really can't help the fact that I love to drag my feet, whenever I was in boots, shoes, flip flops, barefoot, or even when I sleep. Guys, remember those arseholes during your recruit times that always sabo by dragging their boots while in line?? Well, I'm one of them...But I guess it runs in my family, my sister don't really drag her feet, but like to stomp (don't ask me why...I don't know). You can hear her coming down the stairs all the way from the 5th floor and you'll think it's an elephant. But here's a comment though, as much as I don't like others to drag their feets (I can do it, not others), flip flops are a must to be dragged and it was even 100% approved by the Chinese. If not why are they called 拖鞋 in the first place if you can't 拖 them??
Caterpillar Elite, you will be mine soon...(evil laugh) wha ha ha ha~!!!!
